What Causes Burning Pain In Chest And Back Along With Headaches?

symptoms: back is burning like my muscles are on fire. Hurts all the way around my chest. No appetite, bad headache and nausea. Very uncomfortable. Feel like I got a hernia from coughing. Symptoms came on quickly today. I am female and 46 years old. I smoke 10 cigarettes a day. I thought I may have pneumonia now I am wondering if I am having a heart attack.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to heart burn.

Still for further assessment you may require complete hemogram, electrocardiogram, 2 D echo after physician consultation.

For that you can take tablet pantoprazole and syp mucaine gel after physician consultation.

Avoid hot and spicy food.

Keep your self hydrated.

In case of not getting relief you may require upper GI endoscopy after gastroenterologist consultation

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam kale
