General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The burning in the chest area seem to be related to acid reflux. I recommend to use antacids such as Prilosec in the morning before breakfast. I also suggest using Maalox three times a day after your meals to balance the acidity in the stomach.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
