What Causes Burning Pain In Middle Of Chest While Having Diabetes Type-2?

I was having a burning pain in the middle of my chest during my brisk walk yesterday, it felt kinda of like a bad case of heartburn. It subsided when I sat down to rest and I never had any pain while going back to my car or anytime after that, I have had it a couple times before, but it does not happen every time. Is this something to worry about. I am a 53 Year old woman with type 2 diabetes.
