General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Stress can cause the aggravation of symptoms including pain and neuralgia (nerve related pain).

The fact that you are experiencing electric shock infers that the pain may be nerve related.

There are different possible causes: (1) vitamin b12, folate deficiency
(2)diabetes
(3)liver and kidney diseases
(4)exposure to toxins
(5)infections
(6)side effect of medication
(7)idiopathic- cause not known
(8)some autoimmune disease

I hope this helps
