What Causes Burning Sensation Above The Navel After Drinking Water?
My stomach burns whenever I drink water....it s not heartburn, it s just above my bellybutton, and nothing else seems to cause it. I usually drink room temperature water, but cold water causes it too. I ve also tried numerous types of filtered water and it s always the same. This has been happening for about a week, but happened a month or so ago too, until I stopped drinking water. What could this possibly be?

Hi,
Your symptoms seem to be related to gastritis.
It is an inflammation of the gastric mucous.
I suggest you to use medication to low the acidity in the stomach such as Omeprazole.
