Hello,

There's is no exact time limit to go parasthesia after stopped smoking.
It may be due to smoking or vitamin B12 deficiency or infection or chronic fatigue syndrome or anemia or thalamic pain syndrome or stroke etc.

Please get it done MRI brain, nerve biopsay, MRI spinal cord, serum electrolytes, thyroid profile and nerve conduction study. Then consult your neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
