General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There could be many causes for this right lower abdominal pain, including GI causes such as diverticulitis or appendicitis, if you are female causes such as ovarian cyst or even infection, as well as musculoskeletal causes such as coming from your hip or other muscles. Given that this seems to be related to your body position and activity, I would suspect musculoskeletal, though it is not clear whether it is coming from your hip or abdominal muscles. I would suggest seeing your doctor if it persists, who can do an examination that would likely clarify where the pain is coming from.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
