What Causes Burning Sensation And Bumps In Pelvic Region?

I went to the hospital because i had burning on one side and there are little bumps.... I have only been with one person for years and he has only been with me as well, the RN I seen said she doesn t think it is herpes, and tried to squeeze one ( without letting me know) and said nothing came out. But, she said if she had to guess it could be herpes. What could it be?
