What Causes Burning Sensation And Fluttering In Abdomen?
I suddenly started to gain weight 5 months ago. I have gained nearly 20 llbs and it seems to be almost all in the stomach region. About a month ago I felt what seemed to be flutters and I feel them more now. And in the pas week I have started to feel a burning sensation on the left side of my abdomen (mostly ... sometimes it s the right side). I can eat a person out of house and home these days BUT I still have what appears to be periods (they last about 3 days-- which is not normal) and are regular and I took a pregnancy test some moths ago and It came back negative. What could this be? I feel like i did when I was pregnant except for this now burning sensation that gets worse....
As you say that the periods are regular but only last for 3 days, how many days were they lasting in your previous cycles? Weight gain can be due to lack of exercise and staying at home thus snacking could be a possibility. Is burning sensation associated with any specific site? You can start with regular exercise and healthy food with low carbohydrates and high fiber and protein diet. Weight loss will also lead to proper bleeding in periods. You can get a sonography of the abdomen done to rule out any pathology.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
