Hello Dr. I am 59 years old and i am having Hot Flashes .....My Doctor was giving me Premarin 0.6 They Stoped my meds and i am burning up with the hot flashes and the water running out of my hair can t Sleep at night ....What is the new Med. out now...The Dr. took me off of the Premarin because of my Breast and I was wanting to know the new meds. You are suffering from post menopausal withdrawal symptoms that happens due to decreased levels of oestrogen in blood. You require hormone replacement therapy. Why premarin was stopped? Many other medications are available and you need to consult expert endocrinologist for that. All the best.
