What Causes Burning Sensation And Stabbing Pain In The Body?

sharp stabbing pain with a burning sensation that lasts about 60 seconds afterwards. Very intermittent but has increased in intensity. Occurred about 5 times over 3-4 months. Male 71 years old in perfect health. blood work approximately 19 monts ago that was perfecft.

I understand your concern.

Sharp stabbing pain with a burning sensation feeling in your body could be due to :
- neurological issues
- arthritis.

Further consultation with neurologist is highly recommended although your blood work was perfect 19 months ago.

Blood electrolytes and vitamins should be further evaluated to rule out respective deficiencies.
