Hi,

Burning sensation and swelling on the hips may be due to infection or tick bite or Lyme's disease or pressure rash or fungal infection, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. It may bursitis or muscle pain also may present like this.

Use local moisturizer cream, pain reliever or blood pressure or sugar test. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
