What Causes Burning Sensation Around Mouth And Discoloration Of Lips?

Hi doctor, for the past few days, my lips have been burning and dried up. Chapstick doesn t seem to help, either. I m also trying to drink as much water as I can as well, but my lips are still burning. I feel the burn mostly around my mouth, but my lips are starting to turn a bit lighter than usual. This is just not the usual chapped feeling, so I m just a bit worried.

Hi. Have you changed your toothpaste, lip balm, lipstick etc recently? Use a good quality lip balm like blistex and use it 4-5 times a day. Hope it helps
