Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your mother is a pressure neuropathy.
My treatment advice is -
1. Take good rest and maintain proper posture with sitting.
2. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
3. Apply an anesthetic gel like lignocaine gel on affected region twice daily.
4. Other treatment options are oral gabapentin, carabamazepine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

If problem persists then consult a neurologist.

Thanks.
