What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination And Whitish Discharge From Penis?

Hello! Please help, I recently have been getting a burning sensation when I pee and every now and then I will see a small amount of a white creamy liquid coming out of my penis. I am very concerned and have not yet been to the doctor yet. What could it be? Thank you for your help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
I appreciate your concern for the burning sensation while urinating along with whitish discharge.
Incomplete data like age, marital status, any other symptoms like fever, lower abdominal pain, any recent sexual activity, etc.
It seems to me you have some sort of urine infection either in the urethra, urinary bladder or prostate.
I would advise you to get urine analysis & culture and sensitivity of the whitish discharge to detect the possible organism so that an appropriate antibiotic can be prescribed by your treating doctor.
Meanwhile I advise you to take plenty of oral fluids, urinary alkalinizer like sodium citrate which help you in reducing the burning sensation during urination.

Hope this answers your query.
