What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination With Blood Spots In Urine?

I am a 63 yr old white male. Today I noticed a slight burning sensation while urinating, then a couple drops of bright red blood afterwards. Also, I feel more tired today. I have no income, no job, no bank account, no credit cards, and live in free government housing for Military Veterans!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to history it seems to be acute urethritis or acute urinary tract infections...

First investigation that has to be done here is urine routine microscopic examination

If pus cells and bacteria present than suitable antibiotic needs to be started like cefixime..
If feasible antibiotic started according to culture report

USG can be done to look for kidney affection, cystitis etc...

Avoid excess spicy foods

Drink more water

Cranberry juice will be beneficial

Take care

Consult nearby doctor for examination with keeping these in mind
