What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?

my mother is 62 yrs.she has burning sensation while passing urine and has a feeling not complete once passed urine completely.had culture report shows gram negative bacilli grown. Colony count 400colony per ml,growth insignificant.pls help onunderstanding the report

Hello,

Normally commensals of the vagina might grow in the culture reports, and since the growth was insignificant it doesn't say anything about intervention. It all depends on the sample taken. A midstream urine sample is the best for urine culture. So we need to know the urine culture again since she is having a burning sensation. But still, if she just follows vaginal hygiene and maintains the acidic pH in the vagina, then she will have relief of her symptoms. So ask her to take Citralca syrup 3-4 times daily with water and then use v wash after urination every time.
