General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

I have read your symptoms and understand your concerns.

So your symptoms are as follows:
-burning sensation while urinating
-pain in the lower abdominal part
-itches in your urethra
-blood in urine (color light pink when you wipe)

These symptoms correlate with an urinary tract infection, probably an infection of your bladder (cystitis)

If i was your doctor i would start you on antibiotics and do an urine test to confirm the diagnosis. You can do an urine test at home, dipstick test kit that you can get without the need of a prescription, but for the antibiotics you need to check up with your physiscian.

Meanwhile you can help your urinary tract to heal itself with these advice:
-have plenty of liquids,2-3 liters each day
-fresh fruit juice
-rose team, chamomile tea to help the urinary tract to fight the infection
-urinate always after having sex
-don't hold your urine for long
-for pain you can use ibuprofen.

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
