What Causes Burning Sensation In Abdomen After Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy yesterday morning, I have had several in the past. This is the first time I feel a burning sensation all across my lower abdomen. I ve never had any pain even on the same day of the procedure. Shouldn t I be perfectly fine today?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may still have some residual discomfort.

IF it is severe then you should see your doctor for assessment but if it is mild or improving then you can consider monitoring for at least today.

I hope this helps
