What Causes Burning Sensation In Abdomen And Vaginal Area?

my 74 year old mother has thyroid problems on synthroid started having these burning sensations in abdomen and vaginal area took half pill a bit better not good i have been monitoring for 2 weeks it seems that when she eats gets better seems better in the evening sourced out adreanal fatiqie seems this is the cause but a doctor said the sodium level should be low not sure what to think

Hi,

She may need to have ultrasound KUB as well as urinalysis to rule out urinary tract infection. Adrenal profiling with cortisol etc., may also be needed along with urinary and serum electrolytes. Treatment would be accordingly. Meanwhile OTC analgesic like Acetaminophen and anti spasmodic like Drotaverine can be helpful.
