What Causes Burning Sensation In Arm After Fracture?

I broke my arm a while back in the first grade, and now it's been several years since then... i broke it between my elbow and wrist, and now its burning severly there. It's not all the time it burns, just every now and then, but it's been increasing. It started burning again yesterday, during my 2nd period class. Is it anything serious?
