Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Burning sensation in chest with burping is mostly due to GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause burning sensation in esophagus and burping.
Along with drugs, you need to follow these lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid stress and tension.
2. Avoid hot and spicy food, avoid large meals and take frequent small meals.
3. Prokinetic drugs are useful in burping. So discuss about it with your doctor.
4. Go for walk after meals. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in the bed to prevent reflux.
5. Avoid smoking and alcohol, if you are having these habits.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
