What Causes Burning Sensation In My Throat During Intense Badminton Activity, Which Resolves Quickly When I Stop?

Hi, Let me start by giving some info that might help detecting what the problem might be. I am 62 years young, my weight is 106 kg / 235lbs, I am heavy boned, which means my body structure is heavy and I do bodybuilding, however I know i am to heavy. In 2010 my business when bankrupt and that is where I got high blood pressure (I think) I am on medicine, I drink (Amlodipine 10 mg /Losartankalium 100 mg / Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) My blood sugar swings between 7 - 10 depending on what I eat. Normally I do not eat carbs & sugar from Mondays - Friday and in weekends I cheat. I am Not vacced and consider myself pretty healthy even with the High blood and kinda of high blood sugar level. I Practice badminton 2x a week myself and train the kids 2x week to and go to the gym 3x a week. I am from Indonesian parents and LOVE my white rice, but as I wrote do not eat it only one day in the week. y Height is 1.78mtr / 5.11 I am trying to figure out what the problem is with my throat. I practice badminton for more than 50 years and lately (approx 3-4 months) when I start to move fast on the court I get a burning sensation in my throat area. It starts slow and get worse according to my movement and breathing and gets to a point I can not continue bec of the bruning in the throat area. When I stop and sit within one minute (approx.) that burning sensation is gone and start to get some slime in my lungs. Once I remove that, (spit or swallow) I am good and don t feel anything anymore, IF i go back to play badminton it comes back again. In my normal activities I have no burning or pain or anything in my throat. I can breath normal without any problem. I know it is not heartburn, (reflux) because I know what heartburn is. I used to have Asthma when I was younger (I am 62 now) and smoked quite some years. Stopped in 1990 and started again in 2005 till approx 2019. I was a huge smoker. My knees are bad due to too much badminton and my weight is not helping either (106kg) IF I walk fast I can feel it starts to burn, but since I can not run it don t get to bad, but it s very annoying. I went to my medical physician and he started to give me medicine for heartburn, but I know it is not heartburn. The medicine does nothing. (Pantopraz Apotex 40 mg). I think it s difficult to know without seeing me, but who knows. Here where I alive they are so slow to send patients to specialist due to expensive cost (and insurance hesitate to pay) . So, I am doing this to see if hopefully someone can tell me what might be wrong. And hopefully we can fix this because it s so annoying. Thanks and I will be pending...
