What Causes Burning Sensation In Nose With Sting Of Chlorine?

My nose and chest are sore. I am regularly feeling burning and the sting of chlorine up my nose however I haven't been swimming. It is really irritating. I would love some advise on my illness . thanks




If it helps the cause, I got a blood nose the day before it started due to a rounders ball to the nose.

By the description you have done in your query, it seems to be an upper respiratory infection.

Generally it is causes by respiratory viruses, and in these cases there would not be necessary to use antibiotics unless you have fevers.
If your temperature goes high, that you may take augmentin twice daily to cure any possible bacterial infections and avoid complications.

Meanwhile if you have cough or secretions, burning sensation or pain in your chest, try bromhexine to remove excessive mucus and ease the improvement. Try throat gargles with normal saline water, honey and lemon. Vitamins would help improve you quicker.
Keep a balanced diet with a lot of liquids, fruits, and fiber containing foods.
