Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query burning sensation in oesophagus on intake of food is due to gastroesophageal reflux disease commonly known as acid reflux. It could be due to superficial soreness of esophagus and it could be due to oesophagitis. I would suggest you to take medication such as Domperidone for few months. You should take preventive measures such as exercise daily. Avoid heavy meals and take meals at short intervals. Avoid hot sharp spicy foods. If your condition keeps on persisting visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly. You should drink plenty of water and plenty of fluids. Don't lie down on bed immediately after food. Don't smoke. Maintain hydration level of body and take multivitamin tablets.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
