What Causes Burning Sensation In Rectum And Mild Fever Despite Having Safe Sex?
Hi.I recently had protected sex at an asian massage parlour. first received a prostate massage and then table shower. I made sure that there was no exchange of any body fluids during sex. But , during the end, i briefly kissed her on the lips and I exchanged very small quantity of saliva. I also kissed her chest.Symptoms are as follows, 2 day- burning in rectum,4th day- mild fever and cold,6th day- white pimple under tongue , pain in the right ear and right shoulder.Am i at a risk of any STD? I am really scared I scheduled a test in the coming weeks.
As per my clinical experience, the burning in rectum and mild fever indicates possible proctitis of early stage as presence of fever is inflammation for sure. In my clinic, I do recommend: - Per rectal examination - Anoscopy - Genital examination - Culture swab of body fluids - Complete blood counts - STD panel evaluation
Whenever, reports are available kindly share with me at earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
