What Causes Burning Sensation In Shoulder?

I have been having this bad burning pain in from of my shoulder and the inside of my elbow! im not sure what i did but it is very hard to sleep on the right side or pick anything up! i have a 4year old who has Cerebral Palsey that i life all the time! could i have torn somethin? Also it hurts in the inner elbow when i squeeze someting hard!
