What Causes Burning Sensation In Stomach Along With Lightheadedness?
Hi I am 24 years old and never had kids before and I feel like my period is really heavy right now! I m not sure if I m making it worse but I feel a bit light headed I took my blood pressure 3 times cause I felt like it was too low the 1st time it was 102/87 2nd time was 98/86 3rd time was 117/85 should I go to the er ? I m also feeling a burning sensation in my stomach?
Heavy bleeding with clots or severe cramps for more than seven days should be treated since severe blood loss can lower blood pressure, cause anemia and also symptoms like dizziness and palpitation.
I would suggest you to visit your gynaecologist for treating heavy bleeding. Anti-fibrinolytics may be required to reduce the excess bleeding. Blood hemoglobin and also blood pressure should be monitored.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
