What Causes Burning Sensation In Stomach While On Pantoprazole For Acid Reflux?
I have been to my family Doctor for what she called acid reflex and have been taking pantoprazole for my problem which has been for several years , now I have been having burning in my stomach all day and sick at my stomach.. I have tried other drugs for this as well. Had 2 upper GI s never said they found anything right now I don t know what can be done..

As per your query you have burning sensation in stomach and you are already taking pantoprazole . Well the smptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like gastritis . acid reflux ( gastrointestinal acid reflux disease , food allergy and uclers like stress ulcers . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to acid reflux because only medicine is not the solution for acid reflux you also need to change the lifestyle . I would suggest you to avoid eating spicy and heavy meal specially at night , eat light and frequent meals , take light walk after every meal and take antacid after every meal . If condition doesn't get better in few days then consult gastroenterologist for proper checkup . Doctor may order certain test like endoscopy , X-ray and stool test . Doctor may prescribe drugs like ranitidine and sometimes recommend surgery to correct the esophageal sphincter .
