What Causes Burning Sensation In The Abdomen After Hysterectomy?
Yes, I just returned from the hospital a few days ago after a four day inpatient total hysterectomy. Everything except ovaries. I had three previous c-sections 18 years ago. I know it has only been a short time but is it normal to have a burning sensation around the front part if my abdomen. I only take the pain meds if necessary and have noticed this burning feeling...I keep thinking it is air in my stomach or that I am hungry, Is it just nerve endings healing?
Based on the history you have shared, you need to see your operating surgeon check for your wound and if that's okay then it might just be post-surgical healing sensation that you are experiencing. Keep taking your pain medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
