What Causes Burning Sensation In The Eyes?

For the last week or so, I am exhausted by 2:00 in the afternoon. My eyes are bloodshot and burning, and I feel like it is midnight. I am sleeping fine, for eight hours a night. I have been on a low carb diet and lost 15 pounds recently, but my fasting blood sugar level was recently 110. I m more tired after I eat lunch.
