What Causes Burning Sensation In The Left Side Of The Chest?
I have been experiencing a burning sensation on the left side of my chest, which feels like it is located in the heart area, along with the feeling of having to burp pretty constantly . It seems to be worse at night when trying to lie down. I have at times resorted to sleeping on a lazyboy. I had 4-way bypass surgery back in 2006. My doctor has recently had me do a stress test, echo cardiogram, upper GI series, & a chest x-ray within the last 2 weeks, & has found nothing out of the ordinary. He doesn t seem to think it is heart related, but I am puzzled as to what else it might be. There is no exterior soreness which might be related to a muscle pull. Not sure what should be the next step.
