If the laparoscopy instrument portals, which have been sutured are healthy, healing well, then you may not have any discomfort. It is possible that mild inflammation of these sites could be the cause of the pain. You may apply Mupirocin ointment on these sites. However, it would be wise to consult and get examined by the surgeon. He may then be able to accurately diagnose the condition and advise appropriate antibiotics if required.
