What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lower Abdomen During First Trimester?

I am about 9 weeks pregnant, and I have a mild burning in my uterus area. I am not quite sure if it is my uterus or not, but I can tell it s in that general area. It almost feels like cramping from a period but not as harsh. Is this normal? I do not have any bleeding or spotting.
