What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lower Back After An Injury?

Hello, About five years ago I fell down some stairs. I went to the er and was sent home after an x-ray showed nothing was broken. However, it took six months before I could sit or stand comfortably without a burning sensation in my lower backside down my right leg and to this day, I get a burning pain when anyone touches those areas, especially the graze of let s say a fingernail. What kind of test should I ask my PCP perform? What could this be?

Hi,

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that low back ache can be because of long-time posture like work related, long standing, long sitting or long bending work.

This can take long time to heel and need to make changes in routine. Best treatment options includes medicines with physiotherapy and rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
