What Causes Burning Sensation In The Penis After Unprotected Oral Sex?
I had oral sex with no condom, afterwards I felt burning, and my testicals heavy. The doctor gave me doxycycline, went away after a week I had oral sex again, no condom, and same thing. In between both times he test came back neg for stds Now I m back on doxycycline, pain is much less, and I think it s going away. What should I do now? Do I continue the meds for a week or go back to the doctor, u started the doxycycline on Monday
Tests for STDs may come out negative while the patient still may have an STD so they are not 100% accurate. You will need to use the treatment as recommended and have the right precautions to prevent STDs. Being in a faithful monogamous relationship is the main way to prevent them. The use of condoms provides some protection but still, it is not 100% either. Your partner/s may need to be treated as well at the same time that you are treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
