What Causes Burning Sensation In The Shin Area?

I have a slight burning sensation in my shin behind the bone. It feels like muscle or tendon, it is not the bone. It is isolated to one spot about 3 inches below my knee and to the right of the bone. If I press on it the buring intensifies, however I would rate the burning a 3-4 on a scale of 10

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are having pulled muscle because your burning worsens when you press it.
So better to follow these steps for quick symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain.
3. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
4. Take simple painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
