Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have burning sensation in the throat after using a cleaning chemical which seems to be due to chemical containing phenol derivative which cause damage to mucosa as these are corrosive poison and cause itching and burning sensation in your throat.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for discomfort of throat. For now take some fresh air and drink plenty of water. Do warm salt water gargles 2-3 times and consult ER without any delay because sometimes condition get complicated if any amount of such product remains in the body. Doctor may perform gastric lavage to remove and may prescribe medicine like sucralfate to treat the damage cause to mucosa of throat and stomach. Drink glass full of milk as it will prevent mucosa.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
