What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat While On Amitriptyline?

Hi my wife is currently taking amtytryptoline for anxiety summons. She has been complaining of a burning sensation in her throat . She asked me to check her tongue and I noticed some what looked like inflamed red symmetrical spots at the back of her tongue. She has Beeb having bouts of tearfulness and butterfly s in the abdomen every day

Hi,

As per your complain you have problem of burning sensation in throat that may be because of reflux disease. Viral infection or other condition also cause burning sensation in throat. Proper physical examination of throat by laryngoscopy use is helpful for diagnosis. Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems. Consult a ENT specialist for further diagnosis.
