General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to sore throat, acid reflux, esophagitis.
Infection in throat easily passed to the ear through Eustachian tube.
I would suggest to consult the ENT specialist and undergo throat examination, routine blood test, throat swab test if needed after clinical examination to confirm the cause.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet amoxiclav
Tablet rantac before the meal
Syrup mucine before the meal
Strepsil lozenges every 4-5 hourly
Drink plenty of luke warm water
Do gargle of betadine 2%
Steam inhalation
Hope this may help you
