What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina After Intercourse?

Hello , I was wondering if you could help me with my situation. I recently had sex with my partner and the day after in the afternoon I started to feel a burning sensation in my vigina , I tried and look it up and it could be a yeast infection because of the cottage cheese discharge but I want to make sure it s not something like an STD or STI
