What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina And Painful Urination?
Hi, I am experiencing vaginal burning, a milky white discharge, and painful urination. I went to my doctor and was tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and vaginitus and it all came back negative. My doctor treated me with an antibiotic anyway and it s been almost a week since I ve finished that. My symptoms are a ton better but not all the way gone. Could it be something besides a bacterial infection?
Given that you feel much better on antibiotics, I would say that a bacterial infection seems most likely. If the pain persist in some way, you should see your doctor again. If you are in the demographic target group, a PAP smear might also be relevant.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen
