What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina During Urination?
Hello, Ive been experiencing burning when I pee in my butt crack. Not near my anus but just below my vagina. I also have soreness in my pelvic area with some swelling. I have a mark on my buttcheek that may be a cut from shaving, it seems to be healing but its round with an indentation and painful to sit on. I took an at home screening and my ph balance seems to be normal.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
These symptoms are suggestive of urine infection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency.
Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or colour change. Other common cause are urinary stones. Diagnosis is confirmed by doing urine analysis and urinoculture.
And after this, antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary. If there is negative urine analysis then you should do ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones. You should drink plenty of fluids and take raspberry tea or juice to promote urination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
