What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina While On Ciprofloxacin?

I was giving ciprofloxacin 250mg for a UTI . I now have a burning sensation in my private area along with my bladder dropping down where you can visually see it every now and then. I am very concerned that this med is now causing this problem which I did not have before taking this med

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.


No medicine wouldn't have caused you that symptoms but your dosage is inadequate. I don't know your age and body weight. If you are adult then you need 500mg dosage and that too twice daily at least for the minimum to act.

So kindly get your dosage rescheduled with your doctor because your infection might become worse. Use V wash and Citralka syrup if you are female to restore vaginal PH and maintain vaginal hygiene.
