What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina While Urinating?

I am experiencing a heavy feeling in the vaginal area and it super burns when I pee. I am not sexually active and I just visited the gynecologist a week ago. There was no problem at the time. There was discomfort when the instrument was inserted to get a PAP smear. The discomfort came on so quickly. I have an appt to see the gyne tomorrow but right now I am in a lot of pain. What can I take to get relief until tomorrow?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Burning sensation during the urination suggests urinary tract infection (urethritis or cystitis).
It may be due to transmission through vaginal examination, improper hygiene and by sexual intercourse.
I would suggest to undergo the urine testing to confirm the infections by consulting the gynecologist.
But now you take following advises:
Drink plenty of water and fruit juice of the cranberry, orange and pineaple.
Take tablet pyridium, tablet pyriidum and syrup cital.
Proper antibiotic according to culture report.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V-Vaginal plus wash.
Wash vagina after urination and sex.
Take healthy diet with antioxidant supplements.
Hope this may help you
