Hello,
1. Is there any vaginal discharge? If yes, describe the color and how is it, like creamy, frothy, watery clear, etc.
2. Is there any smell of the discharge?
3. Is
vaginal itching present?
You need to have tested:
1. Vaginal fluid test
2. Vaginal Pap smear
Please answer the questions above and please do the above tests. In the meantime, you can also do:
Practice good hygiene – ensure your vaginal area remains clean; wash every day with an appropriate product, and ensure to wipe front to back after using the toilet.
Keep cool – As bacteria
thrive in warm temperatures, ensuring that you keep your vagina cool will help prevent the accumulation of harmful bacteria.
Avoid tightly fitting underwear, or heat-trapping fabrics and materials (such as polyester).
Avoid dryness – Avoid the area becoming dry by using a water-based moisturizing cream, and lubricant during sexual intercourse (if applicable).
Dress appropriately – Tight clothing, like tight underwear, is best avoided.
Use cool compresses – When held against the
vulva, a cool compress can help to ease the burning or itching sensation.
Perform regular self-examinations – Check for any irregularities, be sure to speak with your doctors if you notice anything abnormal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
