What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vaginal Area?

Hi Dr. Rynne, For the past week, I ve had burning in the genital area (I m female) and my underwear is always wet from moisture in that area even though I haven t been in the heat or gone to the gym. I think the burning is from the moisture like a diaper rash so I ve used cream for that and it helps but how do I get rid of the constant wetness?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to contact dermatitis, fungal infection.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination.
Doctor will give following advises:
Local application clotrimazole and mild steroid ointment
Application of vagisil cream
Wash vagina with warm water and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Wear pure cotton loose inner
