What Causes Burning Sensation In Throat After Taking Zoloft?
Hi, I took a half tablet of the generic form of Zoloft... It must ve gotten stuck in my throat, or partly dissolved.... It s burning SO BAD.... I don t know what to do. It won t go away. I have drank water.... Took some tums... Gargles.... Tried a cough drop... Ate a little bread..... Took some Motrin.... Nothing is helping. I m beside myself, it nuts so bad. Can t get it to budge, or stop burning. This is worse than strep throat!!! Is there anything I can do to relieve the burning?! So sore!!! Thank you!!!
It is possible that contact with the zoloft is the reason for your discomfort.
Using an oral anti inflammatory pain killer may help eg ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen. One of these would be available over the counter and should help to relieve your pain
