What Causes Burning Sensation In Toes In A Patient With Diabetes?
My father-in-law has diabetics. Recently he started getting burning sensation in legs (specifically toes). He visited several doctors and taking different medicines but he don t see any difference. Please advice is there any specific treatment he should undergo
Due to diabetes your father-in-law is suffering from peripheral neuropathy. It's progression is gradual. you can slow down it by taking good care. that is proper control of sugar, maintain hygiene of foot, wear shoes, avoid injuries, etc. but you can not reverse it. multi-vitamin supplements must be given. Sorry but there is no specific treatment.
