Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

As per you query you have burning sensation of tongue mainly after taking hot food which could be because of enlargement of papillae of tongue and due to medications allergy which you are taking now. Need not to panic about it , its not wart or any growth.

I would suggest you to avoid hot, sharp, spicy food substances. Gargles with cold and salt water. Sprinkle few grains of sugar for better relief. Take acetaminophen for pain relief. Wet a clean cloth and dip it in cold water and hold on burning area for few minutes.

Visit general practitioner once and try to get your medications changed for allergy. Suck ice chips.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Please write a review about your experience with me and do click at' i find this answer helpful' if its valuable for you.
